Dear Family

My name is Tim Lasiuta, and I work with Hermes Press. We are putting together a Roy Rogers strip book and would like to include the Toth strips from 60/61, Sadly, we do not have good copies of the strips.

Would you be willing to post a request for good scans at 600 dpi for us?

 Neil Polowin, posted;

"fyi, IDW is launching a new set of Torpedo reprints this month, with new english translations by Jimmy Palmiotti and book design by Darwyn Cooke. Each volume will be hardcover, 160 pp.

Volume 1 (Sept 15, 2009): http://www.amazon.com/Torpedo-1-Enrique-Sanchez-Abuli/dp/1600104541

Volume 2: (March 29, 2010): http://www.amazon.com/Torpedo-2-Enrique-Sanchez-Abuli/dp/1600106145

IIRC, Toth provided the art for the first two stories in Volume 1, with Jordi Bernet taking over for the remainder of the series.

(Alternately, you can still get the whole she-bang in a single 680-page French-language hardcover omnibus edition from Amazon France.)

The Toth Estate and Family have launched "The Alex Toth Store".

Dana Palmer (one of Toth's children) told us, "We have been working on the placement of some of Dad's artwork onto doodle pads, t-shirts, etc..  and feel the line is simple, clean and will be very popular amongest Dad's fans. the goal would be that any funds collected from the sale of these pieces could ultimately begin a scholarship fund at some point and/or assist the family with future projects."

More can be found on the store descripton.. "This site is dedicated to our father, the late cartoonist Alex Toth, who has left his presence behind within the wonderful body of work he created. This site will not only enable friends, family and fans to own something fun with his work and name on it, but also help to continue the large project of archiving his original works. Ultimately, the family is also dedicated to one day creating a scholarship in his name. Thank you for your interest! Dana Palmer, Carrie Morash, Eric Toth, Damon Toth. Website Design by Vivian Procopio."

I have placed a link at the top of the site to get you quickly to the store from everywhere on the site.

So pick up some merchandise Toth fans. The store is open now!

Hey All,

After being behind all summer, I finally have a new "page of the day" story for everyone. This is the Warren classic "The Hacker's Last Stand" and was contributed by Roberto Zaghi.

Thanks Roberto!
