"Pit Viper": the listing gives an indication why Toth apparently did a few pages for this guy's book, piqued my interest anyway. http://cgi.ebay.com/Pit-Viper-3-ashcan-Alex-Toth-Tom-Yeates-art_W0QQitemZ280219335676QQihZ018QQcategoryZ68QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

While I'm sure "a nickel a page" is probably an exaggeration, I don't doubt you that the colorists' pay wasn't the greatest -- too bad too, because it certainly was/is an important part of the equation. Yeah, Lee would have pissed me off too... sort of like my clients do! ;-) |

I noticed that myself, especially page 7, panel 5. Perhaps Mort assisted him on this one. The hand on that panel is all Toth, though. On page 3, panel 3, the character on the far left looks as if drawn by Jack Sparling -benton http://bentonjewart.blogspot.com/ |

Um...Yes. After the first time you log in your old User Name goes away and becomes your Email address. I should find some way to be more clear about that. |
