Witching Hour
This is story is really one of Alex Toth's hidden gems. A great story made better. I think Alex did his strongest work during this time. The DC horror period was a knock out story after another for me. And he always seemed to ink his stories which really was the way to go for the best quality. Incredible art, enjoy.

I'd really like to see this one without the usual, garish '70s coloring.

I like the DC seventies coloring, I think they did their best on Toth's work then because almost everyone up there at that time repected him.

The Witching Hour stories are great stuff! One of my favorite pieces is the splash to WH#8 which I was fortunate enough to get: http://cafurl.com?i=9037 I'm a computer programmer and the combination of an Alex Toth splash with a babe on it and those old computer cards was just too ideal for me to pass up. I'm sure it's been said before, but that's a heckuva collection CF. I especially like that unfinished comics page -- great study.
